How do I place an order?
Orders can be placed via our website under the products. Full payment is required to secure your order except for custom orders which requires a $50 deposit to secure your booking date.
Do you cater for events or bulk orders?
Yes, we do. Please use our custom order booking to secure your date and we will be in touch with you to discuss your event.
How much notice do you need?
We require at least 48 hours’ notice for cupcakes and at least one weeks notice for custom cakes. During busy periods (such as Easter, Mother's Day, Christmas or Valentines Day), pre-orders are essential.
Do you offer custom orders?
Yes! We love creating custom orders. Send us a message with what you’re after, and we’ll do our best to bring it to life.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Orders can be cancelled or changed up to 48 hours before your pickup time. After this, changes and cancellations may not be possible. Deposits paid for custom cake orders are refundable up to 7 days prior to pick up. After this time, the deposits are non-refundable.
Do you offer refunds?
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not offer refunds for change of mind. If there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 24 hours.
Do you offer delivery?
Not at the moment, but we hope to bring this to you in the future.
What happens if I’m late to pick up my order?
Late pickups may affect product quality, and we cannot guarantee condition after this time so we recommend collecting during the pick up window timeframe. However, we know things can happen so give us a call and let us know and we will do our best to accommodate late arrivals.
How should I store my cakes?
Our products are made fresh and should be kept in a cool, dry place. Please avoid heat and direct sunlight. We recommend if you have any left over to place in an air tight container and store in the pantry or fridge. Our cakes are best enjoyed within 2-5 days but can be frozen for up to 3 months.
Do your products contain allergens?
All The Sweet Garden products are prepared in a home kitchen that handles wheat (gluten), eggs, milk, soy, and nuts. While strict cleaning and food safety procedures are followed, cross-contact may occur. Products may contain or come into contact with:
- Gluten / wheat
- Egg
- Milk / dairy
- Soy
- Peanuts
- Tree nuts
The Sweet Garden cannot guarantee any product is completely free from allergens.
Customers are responsible for advising of any allergies or dietary requirements at the time of ordering. The Sweet Garden does not operate as an allergen-free kitchen.
Will my order look exactly like the photos?
Each order from The Sweet Garden is lovingly handcrafted and individually decorated, so while your order will be created in the same style and colour palette as shown, no two bouquets or cakes will ever be exactly the same.
Because every buttercream flower is hand-piped, slight variations in flower placement, shades and floral design may occur. This is part of the beauty and uniqueness of a bespoke handmade product.
